PGMHS 1969 - Focus on Vancouver, British Columbia
Now that the hoopla surrounding the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China is dying down, the prospects of the Winter Olympics in 2010 are looming. The city of Vancouver, BC in Canada will be hosting and the excitement in the city is building. Why are we featuring Vancouver this time? Because it is the place that Leonardo (Boy2) A. calls home. As we have mentioned before, we will be featuring places where members of PGMHS69 now live.
(And for now, we are doing Canadian cities. - I know - I'm partial. I'm in Calgary, what can I say?)
Vancouver is a beautiful city on the west coast of Canada. It is the third largest metropolitan area in Canada, after Toronto and Montreal, and it has been consistently ranked as one of the most liveable cities in the world. Its location, with the Pacific Ocean to the West and the Coastal Mountain Ranges to the east, allows for a multitude of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. For more on Vancouver, click here and here.
